History Of Telecommunication Day

First ITU (International Telecommunication Union) was founded on 17 May 1865 in Paris. World Telecommunication Day or World Information Society Day is celebrated on 17 May every year since 1969. Every year, the theme of this day is different from the previous one. The name of the theme always changed.
